<p>Swiss Cottage Library was designed by Sir Basil Spence and it was completed in 1964 and opened by the late Queen Elizabeth II originally named Hampstead Public Library. We want to celebrate the 60th anniversary with the community. Part of the celebration is to redesign the children's library. During the sixtieth year we would like to work with others including Hampstead Theatre to collect stories about the library and the theatre. We are planning an exhibition to mark the anniversary.</p>
